Omnidirectional Treadmill (ODT) is one of the most immersive ways of getting around in the virtual world. Differently from a regular treadmill where a user can only walk forward, this enables the user to walk in any direction freely. The direction and speed is translated to input signal for the virtual experience and the character will move accordingly.
